Email validator
Validate email addresses with syntax checks, domain verification, MX record lookup, and disposable email detection. Identify free email providers and verify deliverability.
How email validation works
Email validation goes beyond checking if an address "looks right." This tool performs multiple checks to determine whether an email address is likely to be valid and deliverable.
Syntax check. Verifies the email follows the standard format with a local part, @ symbol, and domain.
Domain verification. Confirms the domain portion of the email has a valid format.
MX record lookup. Checks whether the domain has mail exchange records configured, meaning it can actually receive email.
Disposable email detection. Identifies addresses from known temporary or throwaway email providers.
Free provider detection. Identifies whether the domain belongs to a free email provider like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook.
How to use this tool
- Enter an email address (e.g., "[email protected]").
- Click "Validate" to run all checks.
- Review the results to see which checks passed or failed.
