What is GDPR?
GDPR, or General Data Protection Regulation, is a data protection policy enacted by the European Union (EU) in 2018. The policy is lengthy, but the tl;dr is that it obligates data-collecting entities to allow users control over whether or not - and how - an organization collects their information. We’ve invested in the security of our service from day zero to keep user and customer data secure. With this announcement, we’re excited to give our EU and UK customers the ability to exercise their right to be forgotten—this GDPR certification is a recognition of that.
Knock is now GDPR compliant and SOC 2 type II certified. We commit to continuously updating the security of our services and you can expect an ongoing effort from our team here in the future.
